ARCHIVING ENGINEERING DOCUMENTS | |
| Please inform us if you know of any engineering files, photos & drawings that are to be destroyed or lost forever. Contact the Sydney Division Engineering Heritage Committee Many engineering businesses and industrial companies often dispose of their engineering documents and files, unaware of the documents importance. This often happens when businesses close or are taken over by other organisations, or simply when that portion of a business no longer continues to manufacture. In many cases these documents and drawings should be preserved for posterity. Don't forget the digital files as well. One of the aims of the Engineering Heritage Committee is to assist in the preservation of Engineering Documents of all types and ensure that they are kept and preserved in suitable centres such as libraries, museums, and archives. The aim of this page will be to assist organisations and businesses to
sort and preserve documents and files before they are disposed and lost forever. This Page is Still Under Construction
