ENGINEERING HERITAGE COMMITTEE

The Engineering Heritage Committee is a non profit volunteer sub-committee of the Institution of Engineers Australia - Sydney Division. The 30 committee members interests pertain to the conservation of the technical and engineered part of our historical Australian culture.   The heritage committee promotes and encourages conservation of engineered works, structures and artefacts to both government and public institutions. The committee through its members advises on heritage aspects related to buildings, structures, bridges, roads, factories, machinery and other engineered works in Sydney and NSW. The Sydney Division Heritage Committee is associated with Engineering Heritage Australia which sets guidelines and policy on the various programs instigated by Engineers Australia.

The Heritage Committee meets monthly in the Sydney Division offices. Its current elected positions are held by : -
