Cockatoo Island, formally one of Australia's prime ship building and ship repair sites is now under the management of The Sydney Harbour Trust. The Trust's aim is to develop the Island for public use and access while retaining the rich heritage aspects scattered over this once large industrial site.

The Sydney Harbour Trust is currently conducting guided tours of Cockatoo Island, previously an old Convict Prison as well as a ship building complex . For further details on the tours please contact the Harbour Trust on (02) 8969 2199.

This page will be developed further to show the historic industrial aspects of this once large shipbuilding site.
